What kind of preschool and day care center do you want for your child? Probably something...

We offer that and more here at UU World of Children.
Our program was started in September 1997 because of our commitment to diversity in the Greenville community.

Diversity means:
- Children from different economic backgrounds working and playing together every day.
- Children from different kinds of families learning and growing together
- Children and teachers of different races each experiencing the beauty of their own skin and heritage.
- Children from different religions or belief systems learning the meaning of the golden rule, with no religious instruction attached.
We are a Montessori preschool emphasizing social and cognitive development through individual and group activities.
There is an emphasis on self-direction, independence and responsibility. We are also a child care center offering fulltime care for children of working parents.
- Our hours are 7:00 am until 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, twelve months a year.
- Tuition for full-time students is $96 weekly, $390 monthly. There is an application fee ($25) and an enrollment fee
(one month's tuition -- $390) which will be held in escrow and used for the child's last month's tuition.
- Youngsters 3, 4 and 5 are welcome at the the UU World of Children, where children learn in a mixed age group and where they often teach each other.
- Healthy snacks are served twice a day, and beverages (milk or juice) are supplied. Children bring their own lunches.
- Children must be potty trained to begin attending UU World of Children.
- The UU World of Children admits applicants without regard to race, creed, gender or economic status.
