Equal Exchange Coffee Project
coffee/man

The 5 Star Coffee Project provides a unique opportunity to enjoy fairly traded, quality brewed coffee at all church functions and an opportunity to purchase fairly trade coffees and related products through the UUSC Coffee Project and Equal Exchange.

Fair Trade Coffee purchases shade grown coffee from local cooperatives, helping to save the rainforest and support local farmers. The coffee is amazing - just try it at the next Coffee Hour.

All profits support the Social Responsibility Committee of the Fellowship.

Coffee is the second most heavily traded commodity in the world. Fair trade coffee is a direct link between our communities and farming communities in Latin America, Africa and Asia.

The Coffee Team will establish the Coffee Table on Sundays at coffee hour and at other Fellowship functions. At the table, you will be able to review literature regarding fair trade and fair trade projects. Best of all you can support the social justice works of the Fellowship, the UUSC and Equal Exchange by purchasing fairly traded coffee, tea, hot cocoa, baking cocoa and exquisite chocolate bars. Special orders are available. These products are also wonderful gifts for your friends and family. See ya at the table!
